Inter Aqua Advance i langsigtet samarbejde med Nordic Aquafarms.

Nordic Aquafarms AS has signed a long-term agreement with Inter Aqua advance for the development, design and delivery of large RAS facilities in Norway, and the United States.

This involves the design of a new smolt-facility which will accommodate 1.6 million large smolt in Fredrikstad with planned construction start this year, as well as installations that are projected for 3.5 million large smolt in the USA in the middle of 2019.

Both companies report they will go on with further expansion. In Fredrikstad, they will expand production by 4000 tonnes a year, while an increase of 13.000 tonnes is expected in the United States.

Chief executive Erik Heim of Nordic Aquafarms said in the message that they have chosen Inter Aqua advance as their main RAS partner based on a good cooperation since 2017.

"Nordic Aquafarms has developed a strong internal competence and a new generation design, and we have therefore been focused on cooperating with a competitive RAS partner who can meet our needs in the coming years." We have found a good partner in Inter Aqua Advance, he adds.

Mikael Sivertsen, CEO of Inter Aqua Advance, says they are happy to work with the fish farmers.

We are expanding the organisation to deliver to Nordic Aquafarms and other customers in the coming years. "The industry is rapidly evolving, and we see a great potential to contribute our knowledge and experience," he said.
