European Conference on Water Efficiency in Copenhagen, February the 3rd 2015

Danish Water Forum, French Water Partnership, Confederation of Danish Industry and Ministry for the Environment of Denmark invite you to participate in the conference:

"Making every drop count  - ways and methods to improve water efficiency globally and in Europe"

Join the conference to discuss key elements of improving water efficiency and main water and energy links and to discuss recommendations for water efficiency in the coming UN Sustainable Development Goal on water and in EU policies and strategies with representatives of UN organisations and EU.

Pavel Misiga, Head of Water at EU DG Environment and Beate Werner, Head of Water at European Environment Agency will present EU priorities and strategies and we will discuss with them and representatives of UN, the Danish Ministry of the Environment, European industries, utilities, organisations and other water stakeholders how to:

·        Position water efficiency higher on the global water agenda

·        Discuss and highlight key European challenges, priorities and actions within water efficiency

·        Implement water efficiency throughout the water cycle - presenting cases on promoting and improving water efficiency and barriers/challenges for doing so
